Silver anniversary for BLGC Beer Festival

Sat 20th Oct 2018

This year's Bolton Beer Festival was held over a 3 day event from 18th to 20th October and continues to be one of the highlights of the social calendar for all in the town as well as a great fundraising event for the Bolton Lads and Girls Club (BLGC).

This year the Festival was held in the Premier Suite at the University of Bolton Stadium and boasted over 200 real ales and a dozen different draught lagers and many ciders from around the world and the UK.

Thousands flocked to the event now celebrating its 25th year and it has been declared another roaring success.

Funds raised support BLGC whose vision is for every young person in Bolton to have the opportunity to be the best they can be. Fundraising Manager for the Club, Kelly McFadden, said: "All the money will go back into the core services at the club. It's getting bigger and bigger every year, which is obviously great for the beer festival and great for us. We are grateful to everyone for the continual support."
