The Annual Environmental Review 2011 was held at the board meeting on 26^th October with Senior Management.

The Environmental Policy was discussed and amended to include our policy of using wooden materials from sustainable resources.  It was signed by Michael H. Peers - Managing Director and is displayed on the website.

Amtri Veritas conducted the 3 yearly re-certification audit on 24^th October on the Environmental Management Systems and recommended continuation of certification.

Peers are constantly striving to minimise energy consumption through reducing, reusing and recycling especially in relation to steel materials.  The Design Team have initiated a carbon reduction policy by reducing member sizes through specifying high grade steel and via rigorous design procedures to achieve raw material savings.

Recycling and the disposal of waste are under constant review to ensure the most effective solutions for waste reduction are achieved.
