A successful year of fundraising.

Harry Peers Steelwork are proud supporters of the Bolton Lads and Girls Club and were determined that 2011 would be a fundraising year to remember!

Peers' own dedicated fundraising team known as the ‘Helping Hands Committee' organised a jammed packed year of events aimed at increasing awareness of the club, raising much needed funding and of course having a good time! From bowling and football matches to car boot sales and Krypton factor style courses, we did it all! (see earlier news items for pictures)

Karen Edwards, CEO of Bolton Lads & Girls Club added," I am thrilled with how Peers have really grasped the Helping Hands concept and the results of the activities to date have been spectacular, raising over £1,000 to be reinvested into providing a safe place for the young people of Bolton."

A special thanks to all Harry Peers staff for enthusiastically taking part in the fundraising events and of course to all those who sponsored them.  Together, we really have made a difference.
