Costain Appoint Peers to Magnox North at Trawsfynydd

Costain have appointed Harry Peers to carry out the £3.2M Structural Steelwork element of the Capping Roof Contract at the Trawsfynydd Power Station in North Wales.

The project involves the fabrication and installation of steelwork and decking within existing buildings at the site prior to the height reduction and re-cladding to complete the conversion to Safestores.

Prior to commencement of the delivery of steelwork a good deal of preparatory work has to be completed including method statements, health and safety documentation, quality assurance documentation and the design of connections.
