Harry Peers Steelwork are celebrating a double achievement in the RISE Awards 2011 from the Engineering Construction Industry Association (ECIA).

Harry Peers has received a highly commended in the General Member category and were also highly commended in the individual category, presented to Chris Achilles Design Manager.

The RISE awards (Recognising Initiative in Safety Excellence) seek to highlight those that promote best practice health and safety standards in engineering construction.

Bernice Peers, SHE Advisor at Harry Peers was delighted with the announcement of both awards as was Chris, who has produced designs which include reducing work at height and reducing Hand Arm Vibration. Chris is an active member of Design Best Practice and shows consistent dedication to promoting health and safety, which has now officially been recognised.
