Flying High for BLGC!

Mon 14th Sep 2015

It was a case of "don't look down" recently for Steve Nolan, Health & Safety Advisor at Harry Peers Steelwork, following his spectacular charity sky dive on behalf of Bolton Lads & Girls Club (BLGC).

Thrill seeker Steve admitted that hurling himself from a plane at dizzying heights had been a challenge he had secretly wished to conquer for some time and could think of no better reason to do so than for the support of a charity such as BLGC.

Steve battled his nerves (and the voice of sanity) as he arrived at Black Knights Parachute Centre in Cockerham, near Lancaster before making his magnificent sky diving debut from 15,000 feet!

Steve thoroughly enjoyed the experience and has even admitted he would do it again!

Congratulations to Steve and all who sponsored him for raising nearly 700 for BLGC.
