Harry Peers win Family Business Award!

It was a night of triumph for Harry Peers Steelwork at the recent Bolton & Bury Business Awards 2010 ceremony. This prestigious event was held on June 10th at the De Vere Whites Hotel at the Reebok Stadium. As one of 3 nominated companies we eagerly awaited the results and were thrilled when it was announced that we had been successful in being awarded the coveted title of 'Family Business'.

This award has special meaning for the Company as it not only recognises us as a successful family business with 3 generations of family involvement, but one that is proud of its' history in Bolton and its' contribution to the local community. This is of particular significance to Michael Peers MD as he is also Chairman of Bolton Lads & Girls Club, a local charitable organisation that is invaluable to the young people of Bolton.

The Peers family look forward to many more years of continued success and are proud to display this award at the same office where the Company first began 77 years ago.
