Well done to Bernice Peers who along with 1700 other local ladies, successfully completed this year's Midnight Walk in aid of Bolton Hospice.

This is the second year that Bernice has donned her pink costume and walked the walk in support of this worthy cause. It took the pink ladies 2.5 hours to complete the 8.2 miles starting and finishing from Bolton Town Hall. There was plenty of support along the route especially from the staff and patients at the Hospice and other locals who joined in the good natured rowdiness of the occasion.

This year, more than £131,000 was pledged to Bolton Hospice, which cares for the local community and their families who have life limiting illnesses.

Congratulations to all who took part.
