Peers invest in latest drilling technology.

Harry Peers Steelwork is proud to be at the forefront of new technology, particularly regarding innovative machinery in our Works. The newly acquired Ficep Drill 1201DF and marking unit that were installed earlier this month have already received glowing reviews from both works personnel and clients alike.

As David Eccles, Production Manager explained, "The new 1201DF drill boasts a drive motor equivalent to 30amps resulting in an increased rotation speed and ultimately doubling our existing drilling capacity. This effectively reduces production programme time and contributes towards constantly exceeding our clients' expectations."

In addition, the new drill also has the ability to scribe the positions of fittings, reducing manual marking out time and eliminating possible human error.
