Peers Nuclear Award at Magnox Trawsfynydd

Harry Peers Steelwork Ltd has been awarded the £500,000 steelwork contract by Costain for the Wind Loading Remedial Project to the Safestore Buildings at the Magnox North Decommissioning site at Trawsfynydd, North Wales.

Peers have been involved with the Arup design team and Costain construction personnel during the development of the detailed design to ensure the optimum use of materials, effective design of connections and fixings to ensure a safe and planned method of construction.

This award follows the completion of the £3.2M Capping Roofs Project at the site with Costain which has been carried out during the last three years.
