Peers have successfully completed the supply of 8 pipebridge modules working with Boultings Group on the London Gateway Project at Shell Haven. The biggest modules 3.4 m wide, 4m high and 20 m long, weighed 26 tonne and were delivered using extendable swan neck low loader trailers and purpose built transport beams. All the bridge sections were assembled at temporary supports at Peers workshop in Bolton using the insulated pipework. All main towers and trestles were also assembled offsite and delivered as modules which dramatically reduced the working at height on site.
