Harry Peers 3 million contract for steelwork at Saica Paper, Partington, Manchester, has moved into the delivery phase. The design, fabrication and nightshift installation of the modular cable/piperacks has been recognised as a significant benefit to the project. Peers, working closely with the Christal Management Team and the Client have sequenced the construction of the modular racks in conjunction with their steelwork structures and secondary steel packages. The design and build of additional piperacks and a conveyor bridge have also been added to the Peers package which will also have elements of modular build to enable installation as the plant is entering the commissioning phase.
