The Quality Systems Manual, Quality Procedures Manual and related documentation herein describe the Quality Assurance Programme of HARRY PEERS STEELWORK LIMITED, Elton Street, Mill Hill, Bolton, Lancashire, BL2 2BS, who design and manufacture structural steelwork in accordance with the Quality Standards of BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and the Steel Construction Certification Scheme.

The operating philosophy of Harry Peers Steelwork Limited is to pursue continual improvement in product quality and services throughout the Company aimed at exceeding customer expectations. Objectives and key performance indicators will be established and reviewed on a regular basis to facilitate this process.

This statement will be communicated to Company personnel and contractors ensuring that all employees understand the need to be responsible for the product quality of their work and the commitment to the effective operation of the Quality Management System.

Top Management are responsible for the commitment to comply with relevant company and statutory requirements and controlling further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming items or services until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been rectified.

The Quality Assurance Manager is also responsible for:

    a) Identifying and reconciling quality problems;

    b) Recommending or providing solutions through the formulated channels;

    c) Verifying implementation of solutions; and

    d) updating the contents of the system.

The Quality Assurance Manager will issue an annual report to the Managing Director on the continuing suitability and effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

Any problems or issues that cannot be resolved with other members of the Company will be brought to the attention of the Managing Director for resolution.
