NJC Award for Safety in Engineering Construction
Harry Peers Steelwork Ltd was represented by Dave Pemberton (Project Manager) and Stuart Mitchell (Site Manager) at the presentation of the NJC Award for Safety in Engineering Construction to the Scottish Power Longannet FGD Project.
The Award, by NJC Chairman, Jock Simpson, is made in recognition of the Outstanding Health and Safety Performance of all contractors involved on the Project.
Peers have been contracted to Amec to provide the Primary and Secondary Structural Steelwork to the project which has involved various innovations including the design and erection of modular structures saving significant man-hours working at height.
